I'm at my parents' house still and I ran out of clothes so I started digging through my mum's stuff and found these tartan trousers from the 90s! Mine now - with an old Ramones tee and my new polkadot DMs, £27 on eBay a couple of weeks ago, yeah…

DMs, skinny jeans and a Breton for the bloody freezing spring! Very simple outfit for the weekend.

I found this gorgeous Topshop dress at the Princess May carboot last Saturday for a pound! The tights are from a store on eBay and I got the shoes in a charity shop ages ago, I rarely wear heels as you probably have noticed! Very Courtney Love inspired, the frilly socks and the Mary Janes with the grungy grandad cardi. By the way, I've got a few items up for sale at the moment, please have a quick look! Tons more to be added this Sunday too.

Sunshine Child (by Annie McFadyen)

I stole my boyfriend's hat today to wear with this remade vintage dress and my 90s lace up boots!

I tried posting this to tumblr from LOOKBOOK but instead it's gone straight to my personal blog despite me linking this url. Maybe it's because this blog is an attachment of the main one, anyone know how to fix this?

Print mishmash! Vintage shirt, the t-shirt is from Primark a while ago, the skirt was from a charity shop and the hoodie is nicked off my brother. Quick one tonight as I'm absolutely knackered - I'm getting up early tomorrow morning to go to a carboot in Dalston, I have two bursting suitcases of stuff to sell, far too much stuff I never wear anymore. Let's hope the weather's decent!

I picked up a couple of collection 2000 mascara a recently, in purple and teal. The pigments are very strong but I think I'm going to have to use different wands as the ones they come with give very little coverage. Other than that they're brilliant - great for adding a subtle pop of colour, and you don't lose any of the eye-opening power black mascara has. I find some coloured mascaras, particularly gold for me, just make your lashes disappear. I want to get more colours soon! Has anyone else tried these or another good coloured mascara?

Bart shorts! These arrived this morning from Choies, it's the first time I've ever ordered something from them. Bit disappointed at first as they didn't have a hole for the button to go through which I thought was a bit stupid, but I cut one myself so hopefully it stays ok. Other than that I'm really pleased with them, it's hard to find shorts that don't ride up sometimes, but these ones are great, perfect cut and everything. Worn with my battered dark blue Converse Allstars, this old Diesel tee and a vintage flannel shirt. Please hype on LOOKBOOK here!

This Nirvana dress is just insane, I found it for 2 euros in a carboot in France! Wearing it with gold leggings although you can't see the colour too well in this light I'm afraid, frilly white socks and my leopard print brothel creepers - my black ones are so battered now they're unwearable, the sole is cracked on one of them :( I don't even know what colour my hair is anymore haha! The blue has faded to green I think?!

It's really brightening up now, perhaps for good?! These dusty pink hotpants are from the Topshop sale in December and the Day of the Dead t-shirt is from a brand called Crafted I think, I picked it up a few months ago in Edinburgh. The paisley shirt is real silk and is vintage - charity shop find of course! Hope you're all enjoying the sun and that it lasts this time. Please hype on LOOKBOOK here!

First make up review post! I'm not really sure where I'll go with these, but I thought that alongside outfits posts, I might have some make up ones too, as I love buying different things and trying them out.

I thought I'd start with this Smashbox starter kit that I picked up from Boots for £19 which I thought was ok for 5 items. The eye liner is honestly one of the best black eye liner pencils I've tried, and I've been through tons. This one goes on very smoothly and doesn't slip, even under the lower eye lash. The mascara's good too, doesn't clump, very black, makes your lashes super long and doesn't crumble after a long day! Unfortunately I find the lip gloss a bit too sparkly, but I find most lip glosses too sparkly for me anyway. I don't like to draw too much attention to my mouth, years of braces and a scar above my lip have made me very conscious of my mouth anyway. What I love about the lid primer is that it's the same colour as cover up, rather than the white one by Rimmel I have. I don't use foundation though so I haven't tried the foundation primer. I'll probably give that to ones of my friends to try out instead. Has anyone else bought this box set and is there anything I should try out next?

Yesterday a couple of big parcels came in the post - these gorgeous cherry red DMs I won of eBay for the excellent bargain of £31 and a bundle of things I ordered online. After the cute orange check print dress from the Chelsea Girl range at River Island, I had a look on their website and ordered myself a couple of frocks and these jeans as there was a massive online sale plus they had 20% off everything for students which they don't usually have on offer! Lucky I had a lot saved up from working overtime during the Easter holidays…the tee is a CBGBs shirt my boyfriend got me for my birthday and the James Dean jacket is vintage.

Please hype on LOOKBOOK!

Sun glorious sun! ha, it didn't last at all. Wore this at the weekend while I was in Greenwich with a friend. We saw a brilliant photography exhibition and rode the cable car over the Thames, and we'd actually both shown up wearing a similar shade of green! The shorts were from the Topshop sale, everything else is vintage with my customised DMs.

This dress was an eBay buy, originally from the kids' section of New Look I think. The shirt was my Mum's (Karen Millen), the only first hand items are my Converse!

The teal hair isn't lasting very long sadly - I used Directions but I never bleach or pre-lighten or anything like that as I'm blonde so I don't really have to. However, not the case with this stuff, perhaps I should do so in future…or just use Stargazer next time. I'm pleased with this teal blue mascara by Collection 2000. A make up post will come soon!

It's such lovely warm weather but so windy! Enjoying the teal hair slightly better today, although my boyfriend is not enjoying his pink hair so much - very Pokemon inspired. I cut this dress from a maxi into a mini a while ago, bought from Beyond Retro a while ago. Actually, everything here is from Brick Lane!

This shirt is one of the cutest items of clothing I own, by Motel and covered with little ice creams! With my vintage yellow kilt and purple metallic DMs, lovely sunshine today. I also dyed my hair a sort of teal colour, with washout as usual as I like to change it a lot so I never do permanent. I'd have liked it a bit lighter to be honest…

I thought I might do a makeup post or something like that soon - seeing as I buy so much crazy colourful stuff, it might be fun to review products or something. What do you guys think, would that be interesting at all?

You look cute and amazing. Love you. <3

Thank you so much lovely! :')

Do you know of any good places to get cheapish dungarees? I desperately want a pair!

I got my Winnie the Pooh dungarees from Rokit which were £22 I think? And they do student discount so that's always good, the darker ones from my last post were from the Vintage Basement in Brick Lane, £11 in their sale plus 10% off with my loyalty card :) Of course they're both London shops, but Rokit has a website if you don't live here :) They always have good sales on.

I found this sheer shirt in a charity shop again, alas it is no longer possible to pretend it's warm enough to go without tights! This so-called "spring", what a let down. Anyway, I threw my dark dungarees over the shirt and tried to control my stupid hair with a new red beanie hat. Super simple but slightly dressed up by the nice vintage shirt methinks.

I couldn't resist buying this dress form River Island the other day - I know, me buying something new?! It's from the Chelsea Girl range and it was on sale so it's ok - plus my favourite colour, so I really had to get it. The trouble is it's such thin material and yesterday was incredibly windy - I guess it's not quite summer yet.
